Aquaculture feed and fingerlings production and supplies.
We are dedicated in supplying farmers and organizations including bulk contractors with tilapia fingerlings both monosex and mixed sex, mirror carp and catfish.
Geossy has supplied fish feeds to a number of fish farms, companies and organizations over the past years. We produce sinking and floating fish feeds under the brand name Aqua-Nutri feed. Our products comprise, 45%, 37%, 35%, 30% and 25% Crude proteins

Over 500 youths and women directly benefit from fish ad feed sales, the majority from fish sales in Busia District. We have supported 291 former sex workers in Busia to embrace fish trade with Geossy through their groups. 321 Youth fish farmers have been grouped with collaboration with organizations like SwissContact to support youths to establish fish farms in their communities. The youths are trained, given inputs by Geossy and later sale the fish to Geossy ensuring high yield, livelihood and fish farming skills.
Fish farmers especially youths and women are able to easily get inputs such as fish feeds and fingerlings from Geossy easily at a better cost. This has reduced the cost and time of acquisition of inputs.
With a source of income, the women have a voice in their homes and communities, this translates to happy families and girl child education. Empowered mothers are able to take god care of the families ensuring easy access to basic needs for children. The youth and women groups supported by Geossy have started credit and savings, this is not a Geossy initiative but group initiative. With such, there is checked growth and financial discipline among the teams.
translates to reduction of malnutrition due to protein deficiency; this is yet to be realized with increased fish production and consumption by the communities.
